I have lived here longer than 30 years and served twice as a director and must disagree with your statement that “every board member over all these years felt they were serving the people of Ocean Pines”. Unfortunately I could point to more than one director who openly served the interests of their friends and their self serving agendas at the detriment of the majority of our membership.
