Please explain “ended in financial disaster“? The last two years we have suffered the highest assessment ever only to end up with approximately $3 Million Dollars of our money in excess of the budget. What financial disaster are you talking about? Marty |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Thanks. 
Motivated is perhaps better. All these board goings-on have been going on more or less non-stop for the 30+ years I have lived in Ocean Pines. If history shows us anything, it is no matter who is elected, a large segment of the community will swear the board is on some power trip to the detriment of the community. This is, without question, a fact of OPA political life. “Throw the bums out” may make for good sound bites, but can have unintended consequences. The last time association members voted for a major change in the board it ended in financial disaster. What’s that old saying? Be careful what you wish for.
