| You suggest some people may think the return address gives the impression it may be from the OPA? Perhaps I am changing the subject, but I think the OPA would be very clear if they did support anything. As an example I felt the board didn't think I had the intelligence to read the suggested By-Law changes and make up my own mind without "the board strongly supports this change" Since this is my first post, please let me know if I was completely off key. | ||||||

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: To say an Ocean Pines mailing address makes it look like it came from the OPA is like saying a candidate for council in Ocean City makes it look like a mailing from city government. You are smarter than thatm The issue is not just the return street address. The issue I referenced is the entire return address mailing label. Here is the return address as on the envelope: OPA Get Involved The "OPA Get Involved" sender name on the envelope could well lead some association members to think OPA sent it. Also, the name of the Facebook group apparently sending the candidate endorsement is not named "OPA Get Involved." Using OPA in the return address makes it seem like the mailing is associated with the Ocean Pines Association. As a PS -- I am not sure why I am replying to your post as you have yet to read any reply posted to you. |
