Section 5: OPA Board Subject: Perrone Resigns As OPA Treasurer Msg# 1166167

Pam, you need to pay closer attention. You followed up with what seemed like a snarky remark of "so much for transparency". I never wrote that. It was another forum member. It would require him to read his monthly reports. Do you even know what information I was seeking? The answer cannot be found in any monthly reports. Since you seem to know a great deal about this, just what information do you think I asked the Treasurer about that can be found in any available reports? I suspect you have no clue. Prove me wrong - without trying to find out from others at this point. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Joe, I would appreciate it if you would go back and ask Larry Perone if he had access to the information he sought to answer your question on reserves. You may find that he did indeed have access to that information every month. It would require him to read his monthly reports. John Viola and the Board do an outstanding job of being transparent. Instead of a.) reading the material provide on a monthly basis and b) lacking in due diligence in his role of treasurer, Mr. Perrone not being spoon-fed what he requested. Instead, he was directed toward the information request page for Ocean Pines. That apparently was unacceptable triggering his resignation. You followed up with what seemed like a snarky remark of "so much for transparency". Had you taken the time to follow up and not just accept the superficial answer you like me |
