I did ask for the following: a copy of the bylaws, a copy of the budget, a copy of the job descriptions of the officers on the board which is in the bylaws, a copy of the job description of Finance Director and Executive Director. I did not ask for a copy of the packet board directors receive each month. I took my sources word for it. I now will ask for that. As a nobody I received everything I asked for through info@oceanpines.com.
A nobody? No association member is a "nobody." Every association member has the right to access the books and records of the association. Every association member has the right to ask questions of our elected board members directly. To suggest otherwise is ridiculous. Let me repeat. You will not find the answers to questions I raised in any of the documents you requested via info@oceanpines.org. You do not even know what I was asking about. By the way, Linda does an outstanding job with the info@oceanpines.org answering service. Have used it often myself. You put Info to a lot of work to provide you with information that cannot answer the questions I raised. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Joe, I did write down your question. That was after I asked the GM for bylaws and budget last Sunday and he responded in less than 10 minutes that he would get it to me on Monday. Which he did. I had no expectation that he would respond on Sunday to my minutiae request. I am entertaining a friend right now but I will put all my paperwork together and correlate them. Respond to ur criticism and also have it available for u to pick up. |
