If folks think the bridge is ugly (not me), can you imagine an electric sign?

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: If a couple of electronic signs on 589 would eliminate the 20+/- Boy Scout summer camp signs now on the Parkway it would be worth it in my opinion. I also believe that kind of signage can spark Yacht Club and golf sales. “Country Club now serving lunch”. Well, for starters the sign is not on 589 and the county will not allow them on 589 at this time. This sign is a total waste of money. Nor do I think signs are the answer to increased business success of our amenities. GM Viola and his staff have transformed OPA financial success and did so without electronic signs on 589 or the Parkway. Signs are as much value as Brett Hill changing the name of the Yacht Club. How effective are Parkway signs? I was not even aware there were Boy Scout signs on the Parkway.
