The cost for this electronic sign is around $20,500, or $21,600 for the better and smaller pixel pitch. However, I see only a single bid.
Here is a link to something similar for around $5000. I have no idea how to make a comparison. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: At the risk of continuing this conversation, there is no end run around county zoning regs. No recommendation has been made regarding where any other signs will be posted (and the Board would have to approve of additional signs). To the best of my knowledge there is no metric as to what constitutes successful sign usage. It seems to me the signs we have, whether manually displayed or electronically are in the mix of how OP residents learn about what is going on in the community. Hope this helps. |
