So, what ever happened to the suggestion to provide an exit from the medical center to the route 90 exit ramp. This would take care of the u-turn problem, and provide access to travel 589, in either direction , and west bound Route 90. Probably makes too much sense..
Beats me. I know I suggested it to the SHA person at the OP meeting a few years ago. Looking at the map, I am not sure they would consider a safe alternative. Have you contacted the state about it? Also, given the proposed widening of Route 90 will be to the north side, I expect this could make the proposal not workable. |
