No, Tyler is thought to be the person of interest suspected of having been driving the car, which allegedly belongs to his mother, Kearsten. People who were at the Yacht Club say they saw Tyler drinking there shortly before the accident and saw him leave in the car. The police aren't saying anything, but witnesses to his whereabouts are. And so are Gavin's parents, at least with regard to whether people in the DeAngelus/Ortt sphere have cooperated with the police. They say they have not, despite Ortt's press statements to the contrary. What's more, DeAngelus and friends made a mockery of Gavin's parents and other protestors on the boardwalk, in front of one of their properties, the weekend before last. Rather than ignore the protest or take their party inside, they made quite a show of doing/passing out shots, backslapping, coming out onto the boardwalk for no other reason than to cross paths with the protestors, pointing and laughing, playing laughter over loudspeakers. Hardly the behavior of people grieving over fact that someone close to them hit a child, left him to die on the side of the road, and then went on with their life as if they had not a care in the world. I saw mention of Ortt having been there and taken part, but I only saw DeAngelus on the video. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: DeAngelus previously made a statement that he called his lawyer who then called the police the morning after Gavin’s death. What are people demanding of DeAngelus? Do they believe he was driving the car? One might assume the police have questioned everyone living in the house where the car was found, but who knows. The police are saying nothing. |
