matt Ortt should have zero interest or sway on  this entire matter. They have no vote, and the board would be wise to keep this a matter between OPA and the family of Gavin in all discussions and press releases.  
All parties need to bring down the temperature…just not healthy for the community. Hopefully cooler heads will prevail in an outcome acceptable to both parties.  While I understand that renaming the park seems like an easy thing to do it may not be the right thing to do Considering the precedent and other parties who might be equally worthy of recognition…past, present and future.
