Apparently you didn’t hear the board‘s response. Now is not the time to rename any park or give out awards. Listen again to a board member asserting that consensus. “Wait“ refers to another day. Another month. Another year.
I’ve had a home here on-and-off 30+ years. The loudest mouths are not a majority from OP as I notice my 6 or more clubs are not in favor of the bully pulpit-eers. This is not the way to handle dissension. But go for the signatures as the board suggested. It May materialize if a softer approach happens. Leave Ortt alone. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: The people starting the petition are covering all the bases. What percentage are these bullies you speak of versus those who are not bullying anyone? I think you’re speaking in hyperbole. Doesn’t seem like all the ‘expected trouble’ happened today either.
