Joe‘s answer is fine. What is disrespectful about polling the community on whether or not they would like the skateboard park named in Gavin’s honor? Parks said they got just as many emails saying don’t do it. Hard to imagine on my part. That’s what a referendum would do, if it were to come to that. It was just a thought.
