| Matt Ortt did cut business ties with Ralph DeAngelos several weeks ago; however, this was 4 months after the hit and run and after Ralph and family were still present at the Restaurants. Matt Ortt's first statement was heartless and the apology came four months later. Contrary to what Rick Farr stated, I support any person's right to boycott, but have been vocal that I do not wish to see OPA's financials hurt by boycotting. I think it is sad how the Board and Matt Ortt have handled this tragedy. | ||||||

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I'm still trying to understand exactly what Matt Ortt did that has caused such an uproar? I'm part time in OP so I can't follow things on a daily basis hence my question. As far as I know he improved the food and service at the Yacht Club to the point where it's now a money maker? What am I missing? |
