Get Involved is hardly the parent group. ROC seems to me to have been created as an alternative to the vitriole-spewing atmosphere of Get Involved, where Farr's and Lackernick's supporters went off the rails bashing the previous board, scheming to overthrow them... Without a word from Farr or Lackernick to tone down the rhetoric, even after a board member was threatened. Even after being called out on their silence. There is an echo chamber, for sure, but it's not where you think it is. The fact that they, as sitting board members, along with Parks, condone and actively participate in this ongoing bullying campaign against Amy is shameful. It's also par for the course. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: After my public comment Saturday regarding the lack of transparency the vicious attacks continue including those made by Esther Diller who has started an anti-bullying page. Are you referring to Ocean Pines Oversight of the ROC? With 58 members, it's likely more of an echo chamber than its parent Facebook group Get Involved. |
