When it comes to Matt Ortt Companies and the death of Gavin Knupp, the last thing.....THE LAST THING..... that is in Matt Ortt's best interest is for any of the seven directors to make comments about Matt Ortt on any social media platform. You have over 18,000 members of the Justice for Gavin Facebook page and no doubt there is a core that tracks everything that any one of the seven directors say on social media. What Rick Farr posted today is tone deaf to the feelings to those who follow the Justice for Gavin Facebook page. His comments will only cause more anger and increase the temperature rather than decrease which everyone says we should do.
Rick, if you are listening, just stop. You are not helping anyone. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: No...its a FACT, Matt Ortt, his family or the Matt Ortt Company is NOT involved in the accident that claimed the life of Gavin Knupp. Matt Ortt was not directly involved in that hit-and-run, and no one has said he was. But Matt Ortt did issue at least two press releases, including some sort of an apology for doing so. Why? I believe that is the "involvement" people are referencing and there should be no "libel" in doing so. Seems lately even a sneeze brings on a threat of legal action. Maybe, just maybe, we can all lower the temperature a bit. Let the legal system work to a conclusion. |
