Convictions happen frequently based on circumstantial evidence.
And surely no one has remotely suggested a trial based on “it’s one of them.” What could be available? Eye witnesses who saw someone leave the YC in the involved vehicle. Any cameras between there and the accident, especially near intersection of 589 and Route 50. Gavin’s sister was there. I have no idea what is going on with the investigation, but would be shocked if there are no charges in a hit and run death when the vehicle is found in a home garage. Time will tell. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: ....... the perceived lack of justice and law enforcement dragging their heels and lack of urgency .. Nate, have you considered the possibility that they lack enough evidence at the present time? When persons of interest clam up and don't talk, it's difficult to move forward. In my opinion, I think that is what we have here. Our system of justice does not allow the state to drag several people into a court of law and jury and say, "It's one of them." |
