Section 5: OPA Board Subject: Farr Creates Firestorm Msg# 1180929

How much money? I expect over $150,000 so far. Could be a lot more. Gavin’s father wrote that the paperwork for the non-profit foundation was not yet done, so the foundation status is apparently not officially non-profit as yet. He also mentioned five or so foundation board members and any disbursement takes the signatures of all. I have no idea who they are. Could be all family.
There is no drumbeat to get rid of Ortt. At this point that would be stupid. The only drumbeat I have heard is the drumbeat of those claiming there is a drumbeat. I have no idea what provoked Farr to write publicly what he did. He is blaming me for throwing him under the bus for reporting what he wrote on Facebook. Blaming me makes no sense, but so be it. Everyone makes mistakes but blaming me is not how to handle this. Rick is doing a good job as board member, but the majority he is a part of seems to be obsessed with Peck, Wheatley, and Clifford. Not to mention Daly and Horn. Again - Makes no sense. They have the majority. Why act like a minority. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: What would provoke Mr Farr to question the money collected for Gavin's fund? Does he even know or, for that matter, does anybody know how much has been collected? I'm guessing a couple of thousand, tops? I think his real issue is the drumbeat to get rid of the Ortt group which makes zero sense to me. They have done a great job and we're making money instead of loosing it, if it ain't broke, don't fix it! |
