Section 5: OPA Board Subject: 2022 Election Debacle Continues Msg# 1185196

Joe,
No, two properties have the same exact title and two properties each have a different title. Even when we also had a builder's lot [2022] in our name it to came separate. Just like the association fees-separate. If I represent an abnormality, then it's been like that for some twenty plus years... We always commented that the water company has it right. They send one envelope for those properties associated with one address. They save postage. IJS. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Hi Bill. You sent me an email saying, "I still don't understand. I got one envelope for each of my properties. I brought each one individually to the community center for drop off. I don't get how one person with multiple lots had just one envelope. Even if they used one envelope to save postage..., each lot had a specific ballot." The ballot package sent to all owners of multiple lots contained a single ballot. If you were able to obtain a separate ballot package for each lot you own then you must have requested those AFTER receiving the ballot package as originally mailed. Maybe you forgot doing so. If not, then the election last year was even more screwed up than we realize. However, one possible explanation in your case might be that each of your lots is owned by a separate entity. Is that the case? If so, then you would have indeed received a separate ballot for each lot. |
