Thanks for sharing this. It was an interesting read and it certainly enhanced my knowledge of wetlands and the many facets of wetland protection. I agree with the statement at the end that it’s important to “depoliticize the relationship between economic progress and protecting critical natural resources.”

Politics serve no role and no benefit when it comes to improving and protecting the environment for future generations.
