Politics serve no role and no benefit when it comes to improving and protecting the environment for future generations.
I do not understand this. Nothing, absolutely nothing, will happen from a "law" standpoint without the involvement of elected politicians. If elected representatives are not who decide how wetlands are defined and how they are protected, who does? What is the definition of "Waters of the United States?" |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Emmet, Thanks for sharing this. It was an interesting read and it certainly enhanced my knowledge of wetlands and the many facets of wetland protection. I agree with the statement at the end that it’s important to “depoliticize the relationship between economic progress and protecting critical natural resources.” Politics serve no role and no benefit when it comes to improving and protecting the environment for future generations. thanks for posting this. |
