I received the following OPA President Doug Parks:
Unfortunately there was an error in the correspondence associated with the annual meeting and it’s location. The annual meeting will be held in the Assateague Room as has been done in the past. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Ridiculous to not have at the Assateague Room. The tail is wagging the dog. I agree. I sent the following to the board (board@oceanpines.org): Why is the Clubhouse vs the Assateague Room chosen for the Annual meeting? Who is responsible for making that decision? It seems to me that the Assateague Room is a better choice. More people can attend. And the streaming and video replays have always been higher quality and more people can be seen (board members, GM, speakers, and public commenters.) Since Microsoft Teams has been used, the overall sound and video quality has deteriorated. Even when Josh was doing meetings with iPhones! the quality was much better than Teams. Why not go for professional audio and video equipment (or even go back to iPhones) and make the quality truly excellent? It's not rocket science. This should be given a HIGH PRIORITY. Much more important than electronic signs, etc. Thank you for your consideration. I will post any replies I receive... |
