| The inside just doesn’t have a good dining atmosphere IMHO. Even the outside with the heavy block construction just looks institutional as Ed Moran points out. Good dining establishments have a warm and inviting feel and atmosphere. while I agree that MOC operates it as well or better than others, with good culinary products, it doesn’t measure up to the complete dining experience. It is not going to change in our lifetimes so I have resigned myself to accept it for what it is. | ||||||

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Actually I did spend a fair amount of time at the old club, mostly outside at the bar. I tried the new club and, while I will admit, the food was excellent the place just didn't seem "comfortable" at least to me. |
