At that time OPA wanted Ownership of the property and land.
I believe the OPVFD should turn the property over to OPA. OPA then builds new and maintains. The reality is the actual firefighting is done pretty much by full-time paid employees, not so much volunteer firefighters. The full time employees are, I understand, also certified for fire and EMT. They do a terrific job. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I could use a refresher. Last year when talks broke down between OPA and OPVFD, was OPA insistent on taking ownership of both the firehouse building and the land on which it sits? |
