Employees are paid.
There are indeed some volunteers and they were recognized. A builder is thanked on the Yacht Club plaque. For what? One or more volunteers contributed to making a bad deal in letting a punch list go by and OPA was left holding the bag. Upstairs deck? Odors in women’s bathroom due to hole in vent pipe; buckling floors on second floor; mold in AC system; rusting metal at canopy; etc. Of course, no one remembers. The interior layout of the YC is disaster. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I think you missed my point. I was not referring to Association members. I was referring to the Association employees and volunteers who work hard to put together the plans etc that the Board votes on. As to the rest of your post I agree. |
