Sherrie Clifford is publishing a new newspapers paper for the Ocean Pines community. Clifford says the new publication, called Ocean Pines ROC Edition, will initially be available online but the plans are to provide print versions as well.

Clifford, operator of the Facebook Ocean Pines Resident Oversight Community page, said, “This will be a news publication with timely articles about Ocean Pines.”

To that end, Clifford has hired Susan Canfora as Editor, along with three reporters. Canfora is what might be called a “heavy hitter” when it comes to covering the Ocean Pines beat. She wrote extensively for the Ocean Pines Progress and other local papers beginning back in the early 2000s.

Clifford expects to send out a press release announcement on November 1, with the first edition available November 15. Publication with be twice a month on the 1st and the 15th.
