Second.  Republic did not pick up my 4 bags of yard waste last week. Rather, they dumped my large trash can  into the truck, then proceeded to dump my 4 yard waste bags into my large trash can, and left. I called Republic, and was told that Republic no longer will pick up yard waste with the regular trash pick up.  Instead, they will have 6 special  "Yard Event" dates coming up soon.  3 in November and 3 in December, where they will pick up yard bags.  But I was told that they would come back and empty my trash can, now filled with pine needles and leaves.   A few hours later this was accomplished. Just to make sure, I called again the next day, and was told the same thing by another phone operator.  No longer will Republic pick up 4 yard bags with the regular collection.   So next time down to the Pines (I am not full time) I guess I will load my truck up and head to the dump.  I suppose time will tell whether Republic will pick up my yard bags on regular pick days, as has been reported in this forum.
