Ocean City is facing head on the issue with short term rentals. I am not aware of any discussion of the issue since Board member Frank Daly brought it up several years ago which could eventually have a big affect in the Pines. Here is a comment from OC Today/Dispatch;
The Ocean City Planning Commission will hold a public hearing starting at 6 p.m. on an ordinance that would set a minimum length of stay and a maximum occupancy limit for short-term rentals in the single-family home and mobile home zoning districts. The minimum length of stay for short-term rentals in the R-1 residential and MH mobile home districts would be five days, and the occupancy limits in those districts would be two people per bedroom plus two additional guests, and no children counted toward the limit ... |
