Many thanks to Mayor Meehan and Ocean City Manager Terry McGean for taking the time to appear at the meeting. The Board has made a considered and important decision here and those present at the meeting were benefitted by the Mayor's compelling comments. Those not present should take a minute to watch the video. This is a critical legal as well as public policy issue. The litigation (in which my firm is working in support of expert DC counsel) is gaining additional, important plaintiffs each week, none more important than OPA, as the entire community joins together to oppose the offshore project and advance their collective interests. Importantly, OPA will participate in the litigation at no cost, as the City will be covering associated fees and costs.
