Incident: Assault on an Officer

 

Date of Incident: November 27, 2024

 

Suspect: Timothy M. Price, 22, Ocean Pines, MD

            

Narrative: On November 27, 2024, at 1:09 PM, officers from the Ocean Pines Police Department responded to a reported medical incident at a residence in the 100 block of Ocean Parkway. While on scene, Timothy Price became verbally abusive and uncooperative with the Ocean Pines Police. During the subsequent interaction, Price took a swing at one of the officers and struck the officer in the chest.

 

Price was taken into custody for the assault on the Ocean Pines Officer and he was subsequently transported to the Ocean Pines Police Department where he was processed and taken before the District Court Commissioner for an initial appearance.

 

Following the initial appearance, the District Court Commissioner released Price on an unsecured bond.
