You may be correct but those two winter months have nothing to do with lack of inside restaurant customers in season.
I would want to know the heating bill for a cold month before throwing in the towel. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: “Why is the YC is currently closed?” I would imagine because the costs to stay open are higher than any projected income. Just keeping that enormous space heated properly in the winter months must cost a fortune. I would think that January and February are the slowest two months of the year, barring valentine’s day weekend. Smaller restaurants like Taylor’s and Public House have lower overhead. |
