Never knew it had to be shielded from view, it's close to the house and behind the trash can enclosure and a small, PERMITED, shed. When the inspector came out years ago to be sure the shed was in compliance he or she would have seen the tank, why didn't the subject come up then?
I'm installing a white, lattice fence to shield it from view for anyone out on the street so I'll be in compliance with the DR's but that still doesn't explain why it took THIRTY years for it to become an issue? What's your best guess? |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Requiring me to enclose my propane tank with a fence or bushes to hide it from view. It's the same propane tank that has been in the same exact location for the past THIRTY years so I guess they just got around to it because of their workload the previous twenty nine years? Why did you wait 29-years to comply with the DRs. |
