So Ocean Pines (residents) get penalized because we have one of the most efficient processing plants in the state? Other communities that tie into our plant should incur the full cost without causing any cost increase to Ocean Pines.
The important thing is for someone, some entity to make absolutely sure that the current ratepayers in Ocean Pines are treated fairly, and not forced to foot the bill to support other service areas or when bringing in new areas. Hopefully, the OPA Board of Directors will take on that challenging task. In my view, it requires the board to involve OPA counsel, not some committee of board members or association members. |
