Section 18: Worcester County Subject: Ellis Exit Interview Msg# 133871

One of five, for twelve long years, with more control over planning issues since the other commissioners didnt want to dirty their hands with that stuff. A total block of any type of development for the northern end of the county while not considering the impact of all of the residential zoning that existed there and you have what have today. | ||||||

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Why didnt he do more to effect change while he was the right hand of a former commissioner? From what I can tell, Ed Ellis did his level best to effect change during his tenure on the Planning Commission. Whatever his relationship may have been with a former commissioner, however, that commissioner was only one of seven, and you've got to get the votes of four in order to effect change. |
