I appreciate your spin but my question was to Janet, a current board member, who implies in her post that there would be no liability to Association members if a referendum were approved. Being on the Board one would expect her to have accurate information.

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Jack: Dan has already spent over $193,000.00 on pretty pictures, T - shirts, hats, concept drawings, and banners. You and I, along with our fellow 8,248 members must pay for that. There may be some money due for the contract the B/O/D has signed with Blades for which the membership will be responsible. Total could be as much as $100.00 per member, but no where near the $500.00 per member Dan threatened. The question is do we bite the bullet now at $100.00 per member for no center, or do we let Dan and the B/O/D continue for a cost of over $850.00 per member? Marty |
