I'd be more inclined to do as you ask if I knew just why that exact information is necessary. To know if the contract is signed and in effect. Seems like a fairly important piece of information. Also, this is a design/build. When will the board meet to approve and concur that Blades has met the design part of the contract in accordance with the bid documents. Dan said at the Oct board meeting that Blades would submit building plans to the county on November 20. Today is Nov 11. Or have you and other board members forgot that the board must approve the Blades construction drawings? |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: When it comes to the amount of damages, I have to ask as of when? It is a moving target. Our liability increases every single day as all of these organizations continue to work. Pure speculation if you haven't read the contract, and you say you haven't. Would you kindly ask to see it on Monday and then let us know who signed for each party and the date of the signatures? Thanks. Joe, I just posted a WAG of the amount we could incur by defaulting on the contract and the figure does not depend in any way on whose name is on the dotted line nor the date it was placed there. As I have said, the CC project does not consist of one contract but of many. I'd be more inclined to do as you ask if I knew just why that exact information is necessary. Bill Z |
