The above is not what happened with the letter from ESBIA, but as usual you ignore the facts. Steen took nothing from ESBIA. He asked for the letter and ESBIA sent it to him with Esham's signature on it. I have verified this with the president of ESBIA, Bud Esham. Steen is a former president, but he did not take ESBIA letterhead, compose the letter, and sign the president's name.

Whose good side are you trying to get on with that opinion, Marvin, ESBIA or both?

I guess in your opinion this letter must be an error in judgment, a mistake, an honest mistake, a joke, poor decision making, no foul, no harm done, a lesson learned, etc.

I would not characterize the letter as a hoax, as Marty did. I would characterize it, perhaps, as an error in judgment. The error in judgment was by the executive director or secretary at ESBIA who created the letter and sent it to Marvin at his request. Whomever the ESBIA employee, the individual made a serious mistake -- in judgment. I do not think the employee meant to perpetuate a hoax. Nor do I believe the employee signed the president's name with an intent for forge, at least not in the commonly accepted view of forging for personal gain or deception. The employee probably had no idea as the controversial nature of the letter. Regardless, the employee should have informed Esham of the letter before sending to Steen.

Of course those with a propensity to believe conspiracy theories will not want to look at the letter in any way except as part of some grand conspiracy involving a board member or the entire board.

You have a propensity to speculate without any supporting facts and not even stating the speculation is speculation. What's your unsupported speculation on the letter? Or perhaps you have some facts I have not discovered after speaking with Steen, Esham, and Clarke. Is so, tell us.
