Steen is a former president, but he did not take ESBIA letterhead, compose the letter, and sign the president's name. I never said he did. Of course those with a propensity to believe conspiracy theories will not want to look at the letter in any way except as part of some grand conspiracy involving a board member or the entire board. "....involving a board member or the entire board." I never suggested such. The error in judgment was by the executive director or secretary at ESBIA who created the letter and sent it to Marvin at his request. Whomever the ESBIA employee, the individual made a serious mistake -- in judgment. The employee may have just been "following orders." Until someone mail the letter to the local papers. What's your unsupported speculation on the letter? Absolutely no speculation at all. To stop the S.T.O.P. campaign. There has to be a reason or motive for mailing the letter. It certainly wasn't sent just for the hell of it or because there was nothing better to do that day. Here is the reason for the letter. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Example - What would you call someone who would take letterhead stationary from the Ocean Pines Area Chamber of Commerce, compose a fictitious letter in support of the OP community center, sign someone else's name and then mail that letter to the local papers for publication? Whose good side are you trying to get on with that opinion, Marvin, ESBIA or both? Ultimately it always gets down to the ad hominem attack. I guess in your opinion this letter must be an error in judgment, a mistake, an honest mistake, a joke, poor decision making, no foul, no harm done, a lesson learned, etc. Of course those with a propensity to believe conspiracy theories will not want to look at the letter in any way except as part of some grand conspiracy involving a board member or the entire board. You have a propensity to speculate without any supporting facts and not even stating the speculation is speculation. What's your unsupported speculation on the letter? Or perhaps you have some facts I have not discovered after speaking with Steen, Esham, and Clarke. Is so, tell us. |
