tony, my beloved worked for IBM. if IBM had used the words "anticipated construction costs" they would never have gotten a contract. now we know that IBM stock is way up. they must be doing something right, like not using the word "anticipated". my husband worked on budget matters (among other things like submarines and helicopters). he and other IMBers made sure their construction costs were either on budget or below. THAT'S why the government trusted them. -aurore |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: The referendum was for $3.9 million. We can certainly debate the meaning of "aniticpated construction costs of $3.9 million", but you can't debate the location (Sports Core) and the size (29,000 sq feet). |
