Why would you fear Code of Conduct charges for signing a petition? You have every right to sign it, and, in my view, it is hypocritical not to sign it, given your outspoken opposition to the Community Center. When people are elected to the board they do not stop being one of the "folks." Maybe part of the problem is too many board members think they are no longer part of "the folks" after election. Those elected to any office are no smarter the day after they are elected than the day before. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Joe, Do you think I will face the Code of Conduct again? The answer to your question it is , no ,to date I have not signed the petition. If and when I do will I tell you? Probably not. I am not on the STOP committee. Either way it really about the folks petitioning the board to request a referendum. I get free access to voice my opinion up front and personal to the board. You know how they value my opinion. This is the folks chance to be heard. I will do what I need to do. Janet Kelley
