I am referring to the board formally meeting in closed session. I don't believe the HOA Act allows email meetings. Certainly individual board members can communicate via email or telephone and discuss anything. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: There is also an issue of what can be discussed in private. If a director believes the board is discussing matters in private in violation of the HOA Act, that director should be honor-bound to make a public issue of the matter ....... Does your definition of "discussing matters" also include e-mail correspondence? How about the HOA Act reference to e-mail discussions? |
