We will have a "Multi purpose room" with dancing, chairs, tables and all kinds of other activities that would destroy a wooden floor. The building has two gymnasium size rooms. One with a high ceiling for a gym, and another lower ceiling room for general purpose. While both could be described as general purpose, I don't see OPA filling two separate gym-size rooms at the same time very often.

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Hi WSheridan, Most gymnasium floors are wood and only rubber tennis shoes are allowed. We will have a "Multi purpose room" with dancing, chairs, tables and all kinds of other activities that would destroy a wooden floor. Simple common sense and taking the advice from folks operating other buildings where they have multi purpose room is a wise thing to do. Go over to the high school and ask them how much the maintenance cost is for their wooden floor.....Over $50K per year and they try to only have the people use tennis shoes. Respectfully, Ray |
