Never said there were no concrete courts. I believe concrete courts today are few and far between, and if any are around and used extensively, should be taken up and replaced with asphalt. Some of those great players out of Harlem would never have made it to play professionally if they spent a great deal of time on concrete. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Joe, "I've never seen a concrete basketball court". Apparently you never lived in the inner city. Concrete courts were common in school yards and at local playgrounds in Phila. (over 40 years ago). I would assume some still exist today. Regards, Dave Paquet
