Section 5: OPA Board Subject: Community Center Contract Msg# 392003

The board is supposed to open bids on the Community Center site work on December 5. The concrete versus asphalt discussion involves the CC because some forum members, like Ray, seem to think playing on concrete is no different than playing on asphalt. They have no idea how wrong they are. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: no it didn't confuse me. I grew up outside Philly. Why is he talking about outdoor courts? Am I missing something here> I thought we were talking about the gym flooring of the new CC. BTW whatever happened to the street hockey court that was at the south gate. We moved here towards the end of its life, I think but my older guys really liked it. Was it ever used much, i.e. before 1997ish?
On a different note, is the BOD expecting some answers this week. I can't remember what Dan was referring to at the Town Center meeting but I remember a date of November 20th for something. I'm afraid senility is setting in a bit early on me. |
