Questioning the cost escalation issues regarding the new community center is certainly within the scope of your responsibility as a director...and you should be applauded for your efforts in this vein...but your desire to modify the location and size goes against the mandate handed to you by the membership. These items were approved in the referendum by a majority of voters...based upon a proposal from the board.

You have a responsibility to those voters to do everything possible to bring about the center they approved...regardless of your own agenda as to location and size...those arguments were settled when the votes were counted.
