bill, you know at first i believed they thought the sale would produce enough money, i believed it too. but once they got the final price of 5.4 million, they had to realize they did not have the money. i don't mind my assessments going up 150.00 dollars because i know there is work to be done. but don't raise it to cover this pool enclosure fiasco. and if the community center goes through ,you know the assessments are going up again besides what they already budgeted for the next 5 years. but all they (not bill z and ray) want to do is get this thing built ,so they can say we can't stop now. russ | ||||||

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: it should be included in a new vote and people should know if their assessments are going to rise again because the board might come up short 2 million. Russ, I think you are correct here. If we have to go to a loan, the assessment will go up to cover that loan OR the money will come out of the $150 assessment increase already announced. IF that money is really needed as already appoved by the BoD, then using it for the new CC is not proper. Do you think that maybe they knew all along that they would have to take from reserves?
