Like Mr. Beatty you fail to address the substance of anything I have written or said. Beatty's letter is text-book ad hominem attack:

Mr. Beatty wrote: "The more persons who frequent a website, the more advertising dollars roll in and the higher the profits for the website owner." This is but one example of classic ad hominem attack in his letter.

From Wikipedia: "Ad hominem circumstantial involves pointing out that someone is in circumstances such that he is disposed to take a particular position. Essentially, ad hominem circumstantial constitutes an attack on the bias of a person. The reason that this is fallacious in syllogistic logic is that pointing out that one's opponent is disposed to make a certain argument does not make the argument, from a logical point of view, any less credible."

Janet, given the nature and intensity of your opposition to the Swim & Racquet Club Marina, as well as your outspoken opposition to the now dead Community Center, your complaints of negativity have the ring of hypocrisy.
