On 6/29/2005 during a pre-referendum Town Hall meeting a lot owner asks Dan Stachurski "what will happen if the costs come in over $3.9 million" for the proposed Community Center. Stachurski responds then turns to OPA Treasurer Tom Sandusky for his view. Long and short is the lot owner is told an outside top cost is $4.4 million.
