For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Rick, why exaggerate or spin? I'm not exaggerating just stating the fact, but you're certainly spinning. The original amount given was $350,000 and of course $350,000 will buy only $350,000 worth of work. Maybe if OPA only replaces the roof and nothing else we can lower the cost to $100,000. Maybe if we just replace the roof and throw some paint around we can do it for $105,000. In regards to the $350,000 figure (Item 1), The Honorable Marty Clarke has stated, "BTW, option number one has change in that we will probably have to replace most of the flooring." Meaning, the cost given of $350,000 is no longer accurate. Therefore my initial comment, "We can all forget the $350,000 amount because it's already said to be incorrect, as in low." is correct. |
