that is the mother of all ironies. if we wanted to build an addition onto our house at 22 heron isle i would not even ask for a permit. we have enough land and it would be a fine addition with windows looking out on manklin creek. then if ECC showed up and told me to tear it down i'd say shoot me. -nanci |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Frank, it is fairly obvious to an essentially uninvolved observer that your fatal mistake was applying to ECC for the permit and then building the addition after you were turned down. In OPA-land you might have been in a better position had you not even requested the permit and just put up the addition. If I were you I would appeal this in some way to the Board of Directors and beg for their mercy. If the work in question is as you describe I can't imagine four or more of the board members voting to have you tear it down. |
