.........but if you want to get into specifics with me regarding procedure and what is public or private I would have to say that nothing about this was executed or handled properly. My comment was about employee performance evaluations being private information and not available to the general public unless properly and legally disclosed. I'm not talking about how things are handled in OPAland. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: In case you didn't realize it, an employees' evaluation is not a matter of public record unless released by the employee themselves or the employee agrees to it being released. It's known as "Personal and Confidential" information. Wouldn't that only be made true if it was an actual proper evaluation??? Last time I checked, the Manager and employee both have to sign the document. Why were other members of management provided opportunity to sign their own evaluation but I was not? Without a signature of acknowledgement or review its almost as if that document never existed or could be determined valid. Especially if the review in question was written and reviewed 3 WEEKS after verbal termination. Again, you can't make this stuff up!! Does it ever cross your mind why I made these documents public? Excuse me if my tone seems a little agitated but if you want to get into specifics with me regarding procedure and what is public or private I would have to say that nothing about this was executed or handled properly. |
