I thought everybody knew that Ocean Pines Association, Inc. is not building the "new building". I don't believe my post said OPA was building the new fire station. The "new building" will be built by the OPVFD who has employed a very competent planning firm to help them "build for the future". If Nancy's post is accurate, leaving a two engine bay station to more into another two engine bay station is IMO not building for the future. In the grand scheme of things, does any of this really matter. The President of the BOD has signed a contract giving the OPVFD whatever they want. At this point in time it's a lost cause. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Rick: As usual, there is hardly any fact in your post. If you are really so concerned that "WHP is being destroyed forever to allow the FD to build a building to allow volunteers to sleep" you should get a copy of the most recent proposed site plan and take a look. I would be happy to meet with you at the site.
